sepia photography, paper, cardboard Helena Hartwig remains an underestimated figure in the history of Polish photography. Even during the Lublin period of family history, she and her husband started a photographic workshop - as her daughters recalled - it was the mother's duty to organize work in the company. Helena also was photographing herself. Despite the fact that her creative life existed in the shadow of her famous husband, she also had exhibitions (for example in the sixties in Warsaw's Kordegarda gallery), she received prizes for her photographs. Her work is still awaiting a summary.
